Assalamualaikum wrth,

It is just two weeks shy from my wedding day! When you reach this stage, you’ll experience and encounter different types of feelings; fear, nervousness, feeling excited, so on and so fourth…

I got Imam Djafer’s phone number from Tauseef as I miss placed the number (eventually it is stored in a hidden file). I think it has been quite a while since I called him, so I think it’ll be good to give a call to convey the news. Subhanallah, when he answered my call, you can feel something special just from listening his voice.

Well, it seemed that he already knew that I’ll be getting married soon; so no surprise there. And alhamdulillah, as a knowledgeable and a wise person, he gave me a piece of advice. A teacher to a student.

Part of his advice (could not remember the exact wording):

Remember Allah in whatever things that you’re doing. Make sure that you’re always straight in this path toward righteousness. Always use Qur’an and the Sunnah of Rasulullah sallallahu a’laihiwassallam as your guidance in this journey. Remember that marriadge is always have ups and downs. Be patients, guide your family in the right path and Allah will help you.

Subhanallah, listening to these words touched my heart. It seems that it was long  ago that listened to such advice. May Allah guide us to the right path. May Allah forgive our sins, and may Allah always give us a person who always give wise advice to us toward please Allah SWT.
